May 23, 2011 - I think that Bradman is certainly the greatest ever and sachin is right behind. The thing that separates Bradman from tendulkar is his average in tests, it was 99.94. No cricketer has even come close to that feat. However, having say that, the amount of runs that Sachin has accumulated in his career and the way that he is breaking records even at this age certainly puts him very close to bradman. All in all, I think both of them are the greatest ever but Bradman has a very slight edge.

Test matches were not played so frequently in those days. But ,can you name any bowler of that age whose speed was comparable to Saib Aktar or Wasim Akrm or Magrath .Did Don Bradman face talented West Indians at his time??The kind of bowling Bradman faced at his time was even inferior than Ranji Trophy Bowling.

Also, the pitches were not as fine and batsmen friendly as in this generation. His average is 99.96 buddy that's unbelievable. Can Sachin even come close to it? No way!! We must accept facts. Mar 25, 2010 - Don Bradman's test career was curtailed from because of WW II from 193 to 1945. Otherwise, he would have easily played around 80 - 100 tests.
