The best we can do on the ultimate nature of existence is speculate... even physicists can't tell us why we're here with any certainty. Since we're all speculating anyway, I choose to err on the side of what makes me the happiest. But to each his or her own.

Too bad you can't take it seriously, but yes, that's pretty much what I believe. I don't believe we are judged and punished in the afterlife (if we are, it's only by ourselves) no matter what we do. But I still don't think you should go around killing people. It still causes people to suffer while in this life--and in this life you will still suffer the consequences.
